MISSION

The Irish Seaweed Centre commits itself to initiating seaweed research projects, disseminating information regarding seaweed uses and applications and supporting and developing coastal communities based on the sustainable seaweed resource.

In addition it will:

2. Apply for, participate and assist in seaweed research projects

    3. Strengthen existing linkages and develop new alliances with research centres, development agencies and industry

    4. Provide technical support to industry and promote the use of seaweed in its many and various applications
